Who I Am
Chanel Marie Schweer
As a native to California, specifically Southern California (Ventura and Orange County), I would consider myself a typical "California girl" at heart. Spending more time outdoors than in front of the television and being active more than sedentary has been my way of life forever.
I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree from Syracuse University while competing as a Student-Athlete in Softball. Competing at the Division I level, I was able to accumulate numerous awards including First-Team Big East Conference, Louisville Slugger First-Team All League and Syracuse Softball Most Valuable Player 2007.
After College, I accepted an offer to play softball professionally overseas in The Netherlands. Thankfully, I had the opportunity to coach two younger division softball teams as well. It was then that I realized my true passion for coaching, fitness, and travel.
I had the pleasure to work and further educate myself at Gold’s Gym and Equinox Fitness before opening my own private training business. With the success of my client book, I hoped to expand and help as many people begin their fitness journey both online and in person. My dream was realized when each day was filled with training my clients ranging from Student-Athletes to CEOs and having them embrace and conquer their fitness goals.
My personal philosophy is to always be learning and setting new goals. I made the commitment to compete in the National Physique Committee (NPC) organization in the Figure Division- Class B. After nine competitions, I placed 1st four times, top 5 seven times, and recognized top 5 nationally. Although I have not competed in several years, I hope to one day compete again in the future.
As a wife and mother, I appreciate the struggles to balance everything day to day. Not just the balance of food and fitness but self fulfillment, self love, self growth, and relationships. I like to think my coaching encompasses a full-circle healthy lifestyle that can be attainable by anyone.
