Long time no speak! I am about 2 weeks away from my competition and I hate to admit, I hit a bump in the road. I have been ill for over a week and the constant stress of training, working, and dieting has not helped, and finally pushed me to my limits. I now find myself on the couch on a Friday night popping Vitamin C and a Zpack hoping to get better. If you are not aware, body fat is hard to lose when you are sick because your body needs all the nutrients it can get to recover. I am doing the best I can, physically and mentally, with this situation. I will not let it get me down. However, when I do feel 100% I have to BUST MY ASS to get where I need to be in time for the show. There is no hurdle I have not jumped, so I will succeed.

Business is thriving and opportunities are constantly presenting themselves. Within the next two week, while I am perfecting my figure, I get to shoot with some of the best Photographers in Southern California! I am so excited and cannot wait to show off my hard work!

I have added some videos under a new tab on the website and I am currently working on a montage of a bunch of my clients training their butts off! The finished product will look amazing.

I was asked recently about targeting the “muffin top”. The best solution to rid your midsection of unwanted body fat is to get on a healthy eating plan and resistance training program. There is NO quick fix for this solution, but the results are well worth the time and effort. Start by putting your scale away. Stepping on the scale every morning can only get you frustrated. Next walk to your fridge and pantry and throw everything out that caused you to get the belly, i.e. processed foods! Focus on lean protein, greens, and small amounts of healthy fats. Lastly, choose a cardio and resistance program that makes you sweat. Designate a time period in your day and devote every second of that workout towards your goal. Try to choose compound, multiple joint movements and limit rest time in between. Please email me with ANY questions!

Check back this week and next for an update on my competition prep!
